Cynthia Armstrong and Taliah Kirven
Cynthia Armstrong and Taliah Kirven both have over ten years of experience in event planning and hospitality. The two met in 2009 working for the City of Oakland Parks and Recreation department and planned many community and sports events together. Soon they began receiving requests for day-of services outside of the department that led to planning events and team-building retreats.
Cynthia expanded her knowledge in planning sporting events, team-building retreats and beverage catering. While Taliah expanded her knowledge in production services such as lighting, logistics, A/V setup and concierge services.
The two decided to join forces and create AK Productions with the idea of making clients lives less stressful, more accommodating and efficient.
I hired AK Events to produce and provide day off services for my retirement party and couldn't have been more happy with that choice! The ladies were awesome and delivered everything that I asked for. They were able to make my night stress free, I was able to show up and enjoy the night without worrying about ANYTHING! They took care of every detail from booking the venue to hiring vendors. They even booked an licensed esthetician to do my make up! I wouldn't think twice about booking them again. Taliah and Cynthia are professional, personable and both have a heart of gold. They are truly passionate about what they do and it shows in their work.
